This varied loop tour starts in Ortisei (St. Ulrich) and initially climbs up to Alpe di Siusi – the largest alpine pasture in Europe. Well-maintained trails and scenic panoramic routes lead to the rustic Mahlknecht Hut (Rifugio Molignon), an ideal spot for a break with views of the Dolomites. The total ascent is around 1,100 meters, but thanks to e-bike support, it’s manageable even for less experienced riders.
After the hut, the route continues across wide alpine meadows, forests, and idyllic paths towards Monte Pana, with frequent breathtaking views of the Sassolungo, the Sasso Piatto, and the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The return ride takes you through Santa Cristina before arriving back at the starting point in Ortisei.
