This large and spectacular E-mountainbike tour starts in Ortisei and leads all the way around the impressive Sella massif. Thanks to the use of several lifts, the tour becomes much more enjoyable and remains very manageable with an E-bike despite the long distance.
From Ortisei, the route first follows the cycle path to Selva. From there, the Dantercepies gondola takes you up into the mountains. At the foot of the Cir peaks, the first flowing trail section begins, leading down to Corvara.
From Corvara, another lift takes you up to Col Alt. From there, the route follows a well-ridable mountain ridge with beautiful views towards the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park and continues to Pralongià. From there, varied trails and tracks lead down to Arabba.
In Arabba, the lift takes you up to Porta Vescovo. Here, a unique view of the Marmolada awaits – one of the great scenic highlights of the tour.
From Porta Vescovo, the route continues along forest roads and with the support of another lift towards the Pordoi Pass. From the Pordoi Pass, cool and well-ridable trails lead down to Campitello di Fassa. There, the Col Rodella cable car takes you back up to Col Rodella.
From there, the tour passes the Salei Hut, which is an ideal place for a break. The route then continues through the impressive Stone City and follows flowing trails such as the Paravis Trail and the Easy Jump Line down to Plan de Gralba.
From Plan de Gralba, the route continues downhill through beautiful forest sections to Selva and then follows the cycle path back to Ortisei in a relaxed way. This tour is ideal for experienced riders who want to enjoy a long but very manageable Dolomite loop with lift support, panoramic views, trails and hut stops.
The total elevation gain is around 4,400 metres. Thanks to the use of lifts, the actual uphill effort by bike is reduced to about 1,000 metres and can therefore be managed well with one battery charge.
The lift ticket valid for the lifts of the Sellaronda MTB Track Tour is called the Super Summer Card.
