It's precisely for such long alpine routes that we designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line! The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the PALA HOODED JACKET for men withstands more than 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which measures abrasion resistance. In particularly stressed areas like the shoulders, forearms, and hips, additional inserts offer maximum protection against rugged rock. The 4-WAY stretch material provides full freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and preformed elbow areas. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the PALA HOODED JACKET for men is exceptionally breathable, with fine Merino wool inside for an additional pleasant wearing feeling. The self-regulating hood fits under the climbing helmet, and the sleeve and hem closures are elastic and comfortable. Thanks to the High-Reach-Performance Fit, the PALA HOODED JACKET for men adapts to every movement and is entirely focused on climbing. The chest pocket and the two front pockets, optimized for belts and backpacks, offer space for small items that need to be quickly accessible on a long day of climbing. For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is also completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 compensation. With a fresh look, the PALA HOODED JACKET for men is ready for big climbing lines on high rock faces.
