To avoid cooling off during summit breaks or getting cold on the descent, you should always have a warming layer in your pack in the mountains. The technical Traverse Polartec® fleece made from recycled materials is ideal as a midlayer or as a light insulation layer for demanding tours, cool weather, or during the transitional seasons. It impresses not only with thoughtful functionality but also with high wearing comfort.
The hoodie features a reinforcement on the shoulders made from highly resistant and robust fabric to protect it from backpack friction and ensure comfort during rapid ascents. The used Polartec® Power Grid™ excels with high breathability, ensuring you don’t overheat even during intense effort. The material has two different surface textures: The soft, comfortable waffle structure on the inside not only has a high insulation capability but also makes the fabric lighter, more stretchable, and packable. It quickly wicks moisture away from the skin, which is then released by the smooth outer side.
The cut of the jacket is athletic and form-fitting, so you can wear it under a rain jacket. The practical thumbholes are an additional plus for wearing comfort. The snug hood reliably protects your head from wind and prevents cooling. Two large front zip pockets offer enough space for a smartphone and keys.
